Ink-bleeding N° 2
Thierry De Cordier
Image of a crucified figure hung up on a music stave, in characteristic blue tonalities. At the exhibition of De Cordier’s drawings in 1999 at the SMAK (Ghent) a first ink-bleeding was on view that depicted a cut in a musical score from which blue ink dripped (Thierry De Cordier, Drawings 1893-1999, published by SMAK and Ludion, Ghent, 1999, p. 113).
This work, Ink-bleeding N°2, is part of the cycle that came into being together with the experiment of De Lijdensvanger in Puycelsi (1988) (The Catcher of Sorrows).
I would appreciate if you could send me more details on this work. I will list my questions here below.
